Personal data we process
When you use the contact form or communicate with us by email or phone, we mainly process your name, email address, phone number and message. We use this data solely to handle your enquiry, answer a question or prepare a booking.
If an enquiry becomes a confirmed booking or service order, we may also process data required to confirm the stay, perform the contract, maintain accounts and meet legal obligations.
Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to enquiries and pre-contractual communication: processing is necessary to take steps before entering into a contract.
- Confirming and providing a booking: processing is necessary for contract performance or pre-contractual steps.
- Accounting and tax obligations: processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
- Protection of legal claims: processing may be based on the controller’s legitimate interest.
How long we keep personal data
- We keep enquiries that do not result in a booking for no longer than 12 months after the last communication.
- We keep data related to a confirmed booking throughout the contractual relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary to protect legal claims.
- We retain accounting and tax records for the statutory period, usually 10 years.
Who may receive personal data
We do not disclose data for marketing purposes and do not send newsletters. Data may be disclosed only to the extent necessary to providers of hosting, email, accounting or legal services, or to public authorities where required by law.
The website uses Google Fonts and may load Google Maps with your permission. When Google services are used, technical data may be processed under Google’s terms.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction or erasure of personal data, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing where the GDPR conditions are met. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
You can exercise your rights by emailing slanavoda@slanavoda.sk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Contact-form data is not stored in the website database; it is delivered by email so that we can handle the message.
